If you can ignore my hideous attempt at drawing realistic duck feet, I can just about say this fanart isn't like anything I've done with Duckula before... I was also stuggling with the right hand too, no matter how much I tried to use a mirror...

I actually like the feet! He does seem lanky for a duck though. When I need to draw a tricky pose, I like calling upon friends, if they don't mind. But I also think you did a better job drawing from yourself than I could, hehe. ^^

Yeah, I do tend to draw him thinner than usual [let's just say he's a vegetarian and loves eating vegetables, hence the tomato]. Thanks for the tip!

Also, please don't take this the wrong way- but his legs are kinda too long.

But I honestly can't get over the superb shading skills and attention to detail! It's looks like you could almost reach out and touch him, the pencilling is so smooth.

*strokes his hair* Duckula: Hey!

*steals his tomato* Duckula: *slow-motion voice* Nnnnnnoooooo....

Don't worry about saying little things like that ;) They really do help with my future drawing. Mind, even real ducks have really short legs, and Duckula IS a duck after all XD

Your shading is excellent! I think with the feet, it's a matter of there not being that much detail in the old cartoons.

Still, that's some awesome work!

Yeah, such things have to be simple in these cartoons to save time and resources XD Just trying it out though.

the hare is great, just like the folds and shading on the clothing.
the feet look a bit off indeed, i guess thats because the shading is quite dark
but, a well deserved :+fav: for brilliant shading and realism

Sweet lord, that's some pretty stunning shading work there. The duck feet aren't that bad, they just don't really fit the character's style. Besides that, fantastic work.

Actually, that attempt at realistic duck feet wasn't all that hideous, the only thing that stands out weird is those claws on the ends of them; but then again I don't really know squat about Duckula so if they're sopposed to be like that nevermind then. Shading's beautiful on this picture though. Everything looks nice except the inside of the cape to me. It seems like it shoudld be darker but it's alright. Thumbs up to you.

I need to practice my pencil shading. looks like fun. nice job on Duckula, and the real life duck feet are nice, but kind of creepy on him. Please don't take this as an offense.

The shading is just fantastic, Stace! I love his hair, in particular! You're very good at penciling.

As far as realistic-looking duck legs and feet go, I think you did a very well job... only thing is, they don't look so good on animated ducks.

But, all in all, good job ^^
