Edited to make it more elaborate about the best day ever and also some of the other deviants I met along the way.  

For the first time ever I went to the MCM expo in London today with a few friends of mine I knew IRL, ~PandaManda being one of them, also being introduced to the bubbly ~Zibby-Doodles and Manda's sister ~darkApril, and OMG it was such a blast!

I got up at like, quarter to six in the morning, left at 7am and got there an hour later.  The journey was a lot shorter than I thought it'd be, as soon as we went past the uni I knew where we were.  Before we got in this Japanese couple took a photo of us along with the first of the "free hugs" peeps that were dotted over the place, I must have hugged at least 20 strangers throughout.

After less than two hours queueing on my own because my friends pre-booked and I didn't, I must have shat a brick or two when I got in because this was nothing like I've ever seen.  Yeah I pretty much got lost, but everyone wanted to go their own ways and it was better that way for all of us as long as we met up periodically.  Shortly I found Kickass-Peanut's stall where the lovely Raygirl would be but she was still in the queues that time.  Came back a little later and there she was!

I brought over the originals of the following of my watercolour paintings - Cake of the Damned, Maggot Split, Fuchsia Air, Please Help [Rayman and Ly in a morbid setting] and Elvis bird.  If I'd have known you guys liked them so much I woulda brought way more but I only had a small bag to take them in and I didn't want them damaged.  I'm surprised I didn't even leave them here by accident, but as always I left one of my drawing pens there oh well.  

Went around to look at everything, take some shots of the more interesting cosplayers that were there [see below], and there were also stations to play some games before they came out.  I tried Scribblenauts for a brief moment but couldn't be arsed; and I played Rabbids Go Home, that was about it. Then you've got the stuff like a moving Dalek that nearly ran me over, and an R2D2 that moved by me as I was sitting down trying to get some fluids down my gullet.  I tried to take pics of Tom Baker and Craig Charles but they came out too blurry, as with the pics of the stormtroopers.   

So not only have I hung out with ~GagaMan and have been introduced to ~ShinKosai, where we tried Rabbids Go Home and this 2D beat em up neither of us had heard of, I also met my fellow Rayman fan *raygirl, along with *kickass-peanut and Raye's sister *Skooterwolf.  I'm starting to wish I brought more of my originals now to show everyone.    You guys were awesome!

And yes the Rayman pic on the over-16s section of the artists' board was made by me, wish I put a bit more effort but oh well.  Maybe next time I'll bring a pad and some watercolours and then a few of you could see me in action!  I also ought to bring more money so I can buy some of the awesome crap they had there like all those Mario things and the different kinds of pocky [which tastes...quite different to Mikado].

Jade and Manda and family, I can't thank you guys enough for this, I really can't!  With hope, I'll be coming to the one in May next year, and I've even got my sister and her boyfriend convinced in tagging along.  Not only that, there's some chance I may be cosplaying, but I don't know who to go as just yet!
